We all have stories that shape who we are and how we show up. Most of us find it difficult to step into our own stories of harm and brokenness; story groups are meant to provide a space to address these past traumas.
Get to Know Your Facilitator
Dr. Bornell Nicholson is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Washington State, Idaho, & Illinois. He is certified in Narrative Focused Trauma Care from the Allender Center. Dr. Bornell will be leading a virtual, 7 week, story group to engage stories of past harm with curiosity and honor. For those interested in joining please click the "Sign Up" button on the left to fill out the attached survey, and Dr. Bornell will get back to you regarding admission.
Fee: $350 ($50 per session)

Our Approach
Our framework is gleaned from The Allender Center to provide Narrative Focused Trauma Care. Story groups center around engaging your stories of harm from the ages of 4-18 years old. While engaging your story, you will discover your style of relating, understand your arousal structures, and experience healing from your stories of harm. All story groups are virtual, 7 weeks in length, and hold 5 participants. Participation in story groups are by application only.
